Beautiful vintage Japanese Shigaraki-yaki (信楽焼 - Shigaraki ware) ceramic studio vase (Hanaire / Kabin) crafted by Sansai (三彩作).


Shigaraki is one of Japan's Six Ancient Kilns, highly celebrated for its rustic charm and traditional wabi-sabi aesthetic. This piece features a stunning combination of rich, dark earthy tones at the base, beautifully contrasted with a dripping green and brown glaze cascading down its long, elegant neck.


The vase comes complete with its original inscribed wooden presentation box (Tomobako), featuring the artist's calligraphy signature and authentic red stamp (hanko), adding significantly to its collectibility and provenance. The original gold Shigaraki certification sticker is still attached to the underside of the base.
