THE STANDOUT FEATURE: COMPLETE ORIGINAL HARDWARE

Unlike many antique Zenibako found today which have lost their functional security pieces over the decades, this specimen is 100% complete. It retains its original, multi-piece hand-forged iron latch (kandome) and the crucial sliding iron locking bar. The ingenious interlocking mechanism works perfectly: when the iron bar is removed, the front framework releases to allow the lower currency drawer to slide forward.
